I just purchased a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix with 160,000 miles on it. I replaced all the brakes, and the spark plugs.I don't know what parts on the car has been replaced or how often they changed their oil. My question is, do you think it would be okay to take this car on a 600 mile trip to visit family? The reason I ask is because I bought a 2005 Chevy Cavilar with only 85,000 on it and the timing chain broke when I went out of town, and ruined the engine.
Should I take my used car on a long trip?
