...key in the apt when I moved out.? I gave my 60 day notice on time and moved out by the date it said (Oct 31st). I called about my deposit and they said it would take 3 weeks. I waited. Today December 2nd I called about my deposit. They told me they sent a letter. I never got a letter. They kept my deposit because when I moved I didn't HAND them my keys I left them in the apartment. They called me on November 3 (3 days after I moved out) and asked where the keys were. I told them in the apartment they said ok.

I asked for one and they said it's at the main office only and I'm worried that if I ask for it he'll know I don't have a copy and he'll shred his and say I never gave notice. He's trying to scare me. He said he's NEVER been court ordered to give a deposit back.
