Should I take dance class at this studio?

I'm 13, and I want to start dancing. I know it's too late to go professional, but my high school has a dance program for all levels and I have a passion for dance. My best friend has been dancing for years and has recommended a studio to me. It turns out that they have a beginner Teen Ballet and Teen Jazz with some integrated hip-hop class. I'm thinking about registering for both. My friend told me that the dance instructors are wonderful and that they evaluate pupils every other month to move them up or down a level. (but you can only move up from my level) They also keep teens in the teen beginner level until they are good enough to go into a "level" class and only be one or two years older than the other's. The tuition for my classes would be $52 per month. I don't know how much that is in terms of quality dance education, just thought I'd put that in there. (my parents said they would pay it if I took the classes) Do you think I should go for it?

I definitely think you should go for it! Many studios don't offer beginner classes for teens, so you are pretty lucky to find this studio close to you. And it sounds like these classes would be perfect for you! As for tuition, that seems like a fantastic price. I know that at my studio, tuition is based on hours/week. A one hour class at my studio cost $52.

Hope I helped!
