SHOULD I TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST, OR IS THIS NORMAL?

first month of birth control, second week into it i skipped three days and had unprotected sex 4 or more times duration. he pulled out but once or twice said he think he may have came a little in me..i havent gotten a period but a few days after sex small amounts of light brown and bright red(pink) blood was on the toilet paper.

i havent gotten a period and i shouldve three days ago, im on the placebo pills. is this counting as a period? or should i be worried since i had sex and skipped 3 pills...and never took them
 
It normally takes birth control about a month to be the most affective. I would take a pregnancy test. Especially since you had only been on it for 2 weeks AND missed some pills. The light spotting could have been implantation bleeding.
