Should I take a Pre-Cal summer class?

I want to go take pre-cal at my community college. The thing is, in my high school, the finals are on the last few days, and the last day of school is June 24. My community college class begins on June 22. I am also very nervous because I don't want the class to go really fast and I get completely lost, you know? I understand that pre-cal is a VERY important course, and as a sophomore, I want to get done with it. I have a very very good background in math, but I REALLY want to do well..
so help!?!
