Tomorrow on the 4th is baby's cousin's birthday. They are camping by a river with a bunch of people. Baby is only 2 and a half months old (4 weeks adjusted). It's going to be 95 degrees and an hour drive there (not to mention an hour drive back). I also have fears of going so far due to my health but I really want to start making an effort for her to be in their lives. However, no bathrooms, in the heat granted I could probably find some shade but I don't even have sunscreen or sit in an rv, and she hasn't had her shots and don't really want people touching my preemie baby. I'm torn as to what to do. Suck it up and be social. This mom has been super nice to us or whine about the heat and cancel. Oh and there will be live music there and I worry about her hearing.
