i mean, would it be worth it?
i go to a private school right now, and i hate it!
it's supposedly a "college preparatory" high school, but i don't feel adequately prepared for ANYTHING. i would say that i'm struggling in my classes, but i'm not, because the teachers can't teach or seemingly care or even know what they're doing/talking about, and at the end of the day, i walk out of school retaining NO information. and believe me, i try. a lot.
i feel like the choices presented for us are so LIMITED. i feel so restricted in this school!
i have a bunch of friends that go to public school and they have so many more opportunities and choices than i could even dream! the idea of CAREER high schools amaze me. classes like "medical health" and "engineering" seem divine to me, but aren't even offered at my school. schools that actually take sports and art seriously make me wanna swoon!
basically, i pay $13k a year for a crappy education and horribly judgmental peers and no involvement while my boyfriend is 20 miles away at his PUBLIC school where he gets a bigger campus, better and PASSIONATE teachers, and real opportunities.
but i'm already a junior, i've already paid my tuition (no refunds), and i feel like transferring would be pointless, since it's already my last year.
what should i do?
