should i switch from t-mobile to at&t?

so I am currently using the t-mobile g1 and i'm very pleased with it, but I really want the option of multi-touch zoom and everything. So I am thinking about switching to at&t for the upcoming release of the iPhone 4g (the new one after 3gs). is that a good move? does at&t have better 3G coverage than t-mobile? which one is more expensive with a data plan and unlimited text?
 
For texting with AT&T in the US its

$5/month for 100
$10/month for 500
$15/month for 1500
$20/month unlimited

AT&T has faster 3G then t-mobile but I don't know about coverage.

It will be worth the switch just for the iPhone I love it I can't live with out it! Its like having a laptop in your pocket!
