Should I sue the Military?

My husband has been in the USMC for almost a year. Before joining he was on probation in Ga. His recruiter from Ga assured him that he would handle it. The recruiter said that he had talked to the judge and the probation officer and that the probation had been terminated. However, almost a year later, we live in NC and we came to for our wedding. 2 days later he was arressted for Violation of Probation for leaving the state of Ga. We tried to find a paper trail stating that the recruiter had gotten the probation terminated. The paper work showed that a judge had signed off on terminating the probation...however the judges sig. had been faurged. We then later found out from the probation officer that The recruiter had been contacted and was told that my husband was still on probation. My husband was in boot camp at that time and the recruiter said nothing about the message. So we were thinking that every thing was ok, but now a year later, he gets locked for leaving. My Husbands pay got stopped for being UA and we fell behind on bills, he sat in jail over a month before a court date and the military acted as if they had nothing to do with the mix up....should we sue?

Most likely the issue isn't the military, it's that recruiter. You need to look into how to get that recruiter held responsible for what he did to your husband because it was his responsibility.
