Justify Your Existence

Im 21 years old and i dropped out of school when i was 16 to join the army , after 2years in the army i decided i didnt like it and left, i found myself unemployed and broke, i did some event work which paid well at the time ($80 an hour) but it wasnt stable, however i have a girlfriend now and all i want is to give her the best life possible, i dont want to waste any time should i study and get a degree or should i try to start a small business with little capital? which one is the true road to success, pls be serious
