Should I study accounting or human resources?

I have a degree in business studies and French. I would like to do further studies. Should I study for the CIMA exams (chartered accountancy) or should I study for a postgraduate degree in human resources?

Which career would be more interesting? Which career would offer me more chances of advancement, status, high pay?
