I recently bought my gf a new v3 and signed her up for myfavs. After using the service, I thought about switching over to the same plan. I am currently using a T-809 and 3000min regional plan. I really only call a handful of people, so switching plans might be advantageous for me. However, the T-809 is not myfavs compatible. Also, the reason I visited this site was because I was interested in flashing my T-809 -> D820 so that I could bypass all of T-mobiles blocks and utilize OperaMini/Gmail/Google Maps. Now I am hearing that ALL of T-Mobile's Samsung phones are crippled, so it really does me no good to upgrade to say a Trace or something similar. That being said, is there ANY phone T-Mobile says that is myfavs compatible, but can also be made to work with OperaMini/Gmail/Google Maps at the same time? If I use something like my gf's new Razr, could I accomplish this? Such a pity that T-Mobile cripples their phones so badly. It's like driving a Ferrari around with a speed governor that limits you to 60mph. Such a waste. Thanks for your time.
