I am currently a special education teacher (second year) and I am hoping to move back home at the end of this school year. I live just under three hours away so it is not a terrible drive. I am trying to figure out how to make the best impression on potential school districts to get a teaching job secured for next year. Should I send out a resume and cover letter to special education directors? And if so when should I begin that process? If not what is the most appealing route for me to get noticed and hopefully get offered an interview and job?
