My old PS3 (80 GB) came across the RLOD and died on me. I looked for some tips on how to fix it without opening my system. I have given up and started thinking about sending it to Sony. But should I get the PS3 slim instead of sending my system in? The slim has double the GB space and the design looks great for the price of $300. However, I can send it in for repair for the price of $150. So what should I do; send in my dead PS3 for repair, or buy a PS3 slim?
