Should I sell or keep my Lincoln Continental?

Okay, so I'm 14 turning 15 in October. We've had a 1988 Lincoln Continental in our garage for years because of the engine block cracking, and me and my dad have been repairing it for a year or so now, on and off, it's not our first priority. A new engine for the car runs at about $800-$1200, but my dad says I need to make a decision soon because we're running out of space in the driveway. The thing is, even if we replace an engine, we don't know for how long the engine will last, and we don't know the condition of the transmission either.
Should I sell the whole thing for a few hundred bucks or should I keep it and repair it?
By the way, a used Camaro runs for as little as $2,500 on the internet. Should I just start saving up for a Camaro?
Thanks for your help.
