Should i sell my itouch 4th gen 8gigs for the lg optimus v?

I really want the lg optimus v but i dont know if i should sell my ipod touch 4th generation for it? I currently have the crappy kyocera loft for virgin mobile so i want the lg optimus v should i sell my itouch for it??
