Should I sell my 1986 Toyota Celica or spend a lot to repair it?

Here's my scenario. I need to get an axle replaced, front brake pads fixed if not replaced, fuel filter replaced, work done on the fuel injector/work done on the engine, and a bit more.

All of this will cost me somewhere around $500.

Should I just dump that idea and sell it(with a description of all of the problems of course), fix it up then sell it, or repair it and keep it? I'm someone who is in a HUGE financial crisis and CAN NOT afford all this crap.

Opinions wanted! You don't have to be a pro to reply!
