should i return my new compaq laptop 15.6?

ok so i bought this compaq laptop for 249.99+taxes on boxing day the normal price of this laptop is 400? so its like 40% off but im thinking about returning it cause i already have an hp laptop, they almost look the same the only diff is the track pad and the color they almost got the same features too the hp has a faster processor. the reason i bought this laptop is for my college experience cause im going to college on january and i want a pretty cheap laptop for everyday use for school cause i dont to waste my hp laptop cause its 700$
