Should I retake chemistry and algebra 2?

So I got my report card and I got an F in second semester chemistry(I got a C- first semester) and I got a D+ in algebra 2(I got a C first semester), I'm going to be a senior next year and should I retake those two classes? How will it show up on my transcript? Will colleges look down upon me and reject me? those are my only problem classes on my transcript except one C in first semester sophomore geometry...
 
Retake them again for sure. Failing grades will profoundly effect your overall GPA as well as any perception of you as a hardworking and desirable student.

Granted, more considerations for enrollment are taken into account than just grades- but unless you are the damn class president, captain of the swim team and on debate or something -it doesn't look too good for you.

People with ANY failing grades usually cannot expect to get into any sort of Ivy league school. If your overall GPA isn't bad maybe an in-state public University = but if you are trying to go out of state to a prestigious school -RETAKE the classes !!!! Otherwise... Community College here you come .
