should i restore to 4.0.1 and wait?

I have 4 iphone 3gs on itunes logo screen and i want to unlock and jailbreak it when solution comes out. I just wanted to know, should i restore all these pieces to 4.0.1 and then wait for the solution or should i just wait for solution and then restore?

If any of those phones is still running 3.1.2 or lower (or has shsh backup in Cydia to restore to 3.1.2) you can jailbreak them (running iOS4).

If not, yes, install 4.0.1 and wait.
