Should I really eat 5 Times a day?

Hello:) Im 17/female/108lbs/5ft 6in.

And I Am starting this new workout plane by bodyrock.tv And ive been doing the workouts for a couple days now, though today I couldn't workout because Im so sore! I recently asked a question about if I should stop the workout if My muscles are sore because I wasn't sure if I should break my Focus over it. But Everyone told me to take it easy so I did. But Im thinking that im gonna do some weights before I go to bed so I feel like I at least did something. Anyways..

Zuzana Is someone who runs the workouts that I see online and You can do them in your own home, also she talks about nutrition and this is wear my QUESTION comes into play.

Eating small portions of food about every 2-3 hours is something Zuzana talks about all the time.
She Says that you will never have to over eat because you wont be starving this way you will speed up your metabolism and burn off the cals.

HOWEVER I don't get hungry every 2-3 hours. Its more like every 5 hours with me. And During those times of hunger ill listen to my body and go get a healthy snack or meal like salad, whole weat bread, fruit, lean meats for protiene. ECT But I find myself only eating on average 2-3 small portioned meals a day because thats what my body tells me.

So should I be forcing myself to eat every 2-3 hours?
I hear alot about people who do eat 5-6 small meals a day and I see that it really works for them
So should I adjust my body like this?
It seems like a lot of meals to me though so if I did adjust my body like that wouldn't I Gain weight?

So Give me your input and It will be highly apreicated! :)

Im not really looking to LOOS weight, Just looking to Burn Fat and Tone/Build muscle really.


Hear is what I had today Tell me what you think:

- Cup of coffee. <-- I know its not the healthyest but ive cut back alot and im addicted! :) lol

- Portioned Chicken Salad. <--- Woke at lunch so I skipped the breakfast meal and Had my protein and veggie.

- 1 Whole wheat Toast with blackberry and strawberry jam/Smuckers brand. <-- Grains, Fruit.

- 1 cup of Chex cereal along with 1/2cup of milk.

- 1 small granola bar. Oats/honey <-- Came in a 2 pack but I had 1.

- During the day I had lots of water.

And this satisfied my hungers through out the day.
But Even when I wasn't hungry i Tried to eat the above food in some cases just to try to follow Zuzana diet.

What do you think?
