I'm having a meltdown, not sure if I should try to pursue sustainable architecture (the idea is completely new) or continue with my plan to become a painter.

The main reasons I'm having big second thoughts are that 1) painting is so time consuming 2) painitng is not very intellectually stimulating 3) most people don't look at a painting for more than a couple seconds. i mean, for the amount of time someone puts into a painting it typically doesn't get as much appreciation, especially money-wise 3) it's obviously not a stable profession
