lenses are good for either? I have saved up $1,500 for a camcorder, and have been dreading the next $2,000 to save for the JVC HM100. I was wondering if it is worth it to stop waiting and get the Panasonic Lumix GH1 digital camera?
From what I understand, the GH1 actually has better picture than the HM100, which is surprising considering the price difference. The GH1 does shoot in full 1080 HD, like the HM100.
I guess what I am asking is if it is worth it to wait until I save $2,000 more for the actual camcorder? What are the benefits of waiting?
Also, for whichever camera, which lens(es) should I look into purchasing for that "film look" that everyone wants?
If this helps, I will definitely be using the camera a lot, because I make short films. I currently have a JVC Everio and this is a huge jump.
Thanks for all of your help!
