I live in the south and I was online looking for a Lincoln town Car. I have found a few that interests me but they are in northern states. I was talking to a coworker about the cars and they said that it may not be a good idea to purchase car from the north. Because the snow and the salt from the ground that melts the ice gets under the car and causes damage. Is this True? One of the cars that I was looking at is an early 90's model with only 62,000 miles on it. Does this makes a difference because it hasn't been driven a lot over the years? I am not Mechanic so if the is anyone available to help please feel free. And if you don't mind could you give me some helpful tips on purchasing a used vehicle. What to check for? Listen for? Look for? Check the oil for what? etc. Thank you in advance.
