...feel like playing.? For my whole life football was everything to me. It was a norm for me to lay on the side of my bed at night and dream of playing college football and then going pro. I am now done with school. Since my last hs football game, I have gradually thought of quitting even when I have a scholarship to play. I definately have talent. I just don't know if I still have passion anymore. It's so hard to admit it. There are times when I am working out for next season, and instead of doing it out of motivation like the past, its more of WORK. It's like I rather just go to school, get a degree, marry my girlfriend, and be happy. I even kid with friends about quitting and they laugh and call me stupid. When I do ask someone about it, they just say play and then quit if you don't like it. But if I motivate myself to play theres no way I quit. Its the hardest decision. Its so hard to let it go but then again its like I don't want to play. What should I do? Mental advice to cope with not playing?
