I was offered a job with a good company and they extended me a job offer under contingent that l provide them with W-2's from a job I claimed to work. Problem is, I lied about being employed for this paticular company directly. I worked on behalf of this company for 3 months though. But I lied and said I worked for the actual company and exaggerated my dates of employment. At the time I had been laid off for close to 4 months and was desperate for a job. I'm a single mother with struggles and thought by enhancing my resume a bit would attract employers from the career field I was looking. I really want this job....so should I just take my chances and fess up by pleading my case? Fess up in hopes that he will understand and allow me to take the offer? Im mad at myself cuz I kno I was wrong and the first time u decide to tweak my resume there's a mountain stopping me....smh
