Hi everyone,

I have been on lexapro 10mg for 3 or 4 years... last septeraber it seemed like it stopped working so they upped it to 20mg.

Dec 16th... things were bad again so we upped it to 30mg. That didnt help, so the Dr gave me Seroquel. I was too chicken to take it.

Here it is almost April and still having major Anxiety... and severe depression... Dr now gave me Cyrabalta 30mg. She told me to lower my lexapro to 20mg, and add the 30 mg of Cyrabalta.

It's been 3 days and each day I chicken out on the Cyrabalta. Should I do it? Is there any one out there on this corabo? Has it helped?

ahhhhh Its bad enough to have depression/anxiety but a pill phobia too! Im desperate to feel better but I also have a 6 year old child with Autism to take care of... I can't afford to be down with side effects ... I need to be alert for her.

what do i do? should I hold my breath.. close my eyes and just take the darn pill?

You have nothing to lose by trying.

If the Seroquel scared you, ask your doctor if you can try Atarax - it is a mild antihistamine with tranquilising properties - might be just what you need!

well. Took Cyrabalta with dinner - 20 min later I had a panic attack. after the panic went away i felt exhausted, yet couldnt sit still. I didnt know weather to sleep or run a mile.

a friend ended up picking me up and getting me out of the house. Walked around walmart - felt drunk.

Came home and took the lexapro before bed as always.

This morning woke up - been mellow.. but there are some strange gurgling noises in my tummy. and I feel nervous...

stay tuned...
