I am writing a personal ad, but I don't know if I should include the fact that I was a Marine. Of course, I'm going to leave out the part about my dishonorable discharge, and that BS court martial, and those phony charges about what I was doing with the dogs I was handling, but should I mention that I was in the military? Some view this as a good thing, others as a bad. I don't know what I should do, and there's only so much space to write on the bathroom wall at rest stops in the first place... should I just write my name and phone number and the words: "anything, anytime" and let the details wait?
