Should I march Mellophone?

I play the Alto Saxophone right now but I'm thinking about marching the Mellophone next year. My band director needs more Mellophone players. I went to try it out yesterday and I was pretty good at it. My left arm got really tired though. If you could answer these questions it would be great:

1. Is marching Mellophone fun?
2. Do you get used to holding it up without your arm hurting?
3. Do you think it would mess up my sax embouchure or interrupt me playing sax?
