...majors? Ok, so I'm looking into colleges, and I'm stuck between 2 majors before I make my final decisions. It's either gonna be zoology, or wildlife biology. There's just one problem though, I don't know what the heck is the difference between the two. When I start my career, I wanna work up close and personal with animals. But not pets, like dogs, cats, and whatever else. I mean wild animals, big ones! Such as tigers, lions, elephants, primates, horses, dolphins, kangaroos, koalas, zebras, the list goes on and on...and on! So, what major do I go towards if I wanna do that? Zoology or wildlife biology? And if you guys have any links to sites the describes the difference between the two, that would be great too. Thanks!

Zoology will focus more on the animals themselves, anatomy, evolution, habitat requirements, physiology etc
Wildlife biology covers a much more broader area such as ecosystem animal interactions and habitat requirements - of course this also incorporates many aspects of zoology.

They do overlap a lot. You do not have to chose your major right away and you can always switch. I would suggest taking some classes in each to feel out what you could see yourself doing. College is about discovering who you are and what your interested in and THEN getting an education in that field.
