First of all, let me say I went into college having no idea what I wanted to do. I'm over that. Now I need to choose a major. Over the summer I decided to work towards majoring in Economics and double minoring in Conservation Biology (only offered as a minor). I am really interested in wildlife conservation, and my logic behind this combination was that I would be able to identify important conservation points out in the field and then turn around and deal with the big companies who threaten habitats, etc. However, I recently looked into Environmental Science as a major (I would keep the same minor), and am wondering if that is a better fit for what I want to ultimately do. I guess my question is: If I want to work in conservation, but be able to have other options once I graduate if suddenly I change my mind (which I'm known to do), which major would be a better fit for me?
A bit about me: I'm not exactly super interested in science, but I am adventurous and I do want to work out in the field. Kind of contradictory, I know...
