Should I lower a 1995 Dodge Avenger?

I have a 1995 Dodge Avenger and it looks good, but I want to get a lowering spring kit. If I did would I have to worry about the suspension bottoming out, or the camber being so extreme that it will wear my tires unevenly? I only want to lower it one or two inches just to get that dropped look. Thanks in advance.
 
Problems with the suspension bottoming out should be rare - i think the bigger question is "do i want to sink a lot of money into a car that's 14 years old?"

your camber worries should be fixed with a simple (cheap) tire-alignment. any shop should be able to do that for $50.
