I am going to attend a private university next fall as a junior and I live approx. 7 miles from campus. My dilemma is that it will cost about $10K more to live on campus but I wont have to drive anywhere. BUT if i chose to live on campus and I receive some financial aid I will not endure the extra cost of living on campus. I am not sure though if I will recieve enough financial aid to cover the cost. I don't want to drive to campus because I'm still not sure how I am going to afford my car insurance once i begin going to school full time.
