Should I lift my Truck and put bigger rims and tires on it, or are there any more...

...important mods? Im gonna be getting an 07 GMC Sierra Ext Cab 4X4 and I was wondering if a lift kit and bigger tires is a good idea. I really like the way my current truck looks with 4.5 in of lift and 35 in tires but im not sure if its worth it to do to my new truck when i get it. I want to use it for hunting and for driving around considering Ill be in college. If you suggest a lift how much and name price. Just lookin for knowledgable input. Thanks
