I'm going to get married real soon and I'd like to please my fiancee. I've tried really hard to make her happy as well as be content with preparations myself,we'll have the wedding in a rented castle in Italy, our honeymoon in Mykonos, plus I've already talked to the real estate agent on the house we wanted, though for the time being we'll be staying in my family's villa in Spain which has been passed down generation to generation.
Still,I can't help these sneaking suspicions that my fiancee isn't entirely content yet. She's an excellent cook, since her family owns several restaurants in the U.S and U.K,but she's decided to attend university instead of taking over those restaurants. She's already graduated from uni but now she wants to take courses on archaeology.Full time, which means she won't have the time to cook and take care of the house.I've already hired a housekeeper for cleaning but as for cooking,my fiancee says I've already spent way too much on the wedding and honeymoon. She thinks I'm taking it overboard, but I just want to make her happy. She didn't want me to hire the housekeeper as she thinks she shouldn't be pampered too much but I only want the best for her. I think she feels guilty because I'm paying for her classes at uni and we won't get to spend much time together after the wedding, what with her studying and me getting back to work.I know I'll be busy and tired but I won't be too tired to cook.Should I learn?I could take classes but then my fiancee will say I spend too much again. I wish she wouldn't nag too much about expenses. She knows better than anyone that I can afford it all, with cream and a cherry on top,but she's this person who likes to save save save.I'm not much of a big spender but I will spend when it comes to her.I have no one to teach me to cook so I guess I shall have to take classes. Do you think I should learn or should I just hire the cook?
