Ive been swimming on the same team for atleast 8 or 9 years with basically the same coach. I honestly have been falling behind in effort but i try hard when i'm not distracted with my thoughts on where i am as a swimmer and why my coach is the way he is. Ive struggled and talked with him on more than one occation to start acting like a coach and pay attention to me a little more, but he only focuses on the fastest best swimmers on our team that apperently need more help then the ones trying to get that fast. its finally occured to me that he just simply doesnt care if i do good or bad in swimming at all and idk what I should do because im a junior this year in highschool and have little to no options other than sports scholorships and the occasional test scholarship to get money.
