Should I keep hunting for a job or start a business?

I have a $10/hr job and a mechanical engineering degree. I re-located to eugene oregon and there are no jobs. (smart move, huh). I want to eventually start a business in prototyping and computational fluid dynamics.(you know how that eventually stuff works)

I'm in need of some inspiration either direction. Thanks
 
I guess luck is not on your side.. mechanical industry were blooming but that was before the economy downturn crisis. There are too many people in your field jobless at the moment. You might want to try working outside of the states. Try other countires who were not that badly affected by the crisis.
