I'm in my third semester of community college right now and I really wanted to transfer to uclas school of theater. I went to college thinking I was going to major in broadcasting but I found myself hating broadcasting and loving acting. My parents were disappointed but said they expected it to happen since Ive been performing in front of people since I was 5 years old. In my three semesters Ive already tried broadcasting, business ed., journalism, children ed., and even nursing because I was trying to force myself to like something that's more of a "real job." But the only class I ever enjoyed was acting and it was the only class that I have kept for all three semesters. And after I did my first play for the school, that's when I knew I wanted to do that for the rest of my life. But Im a little scared.. I heard that most acting schools only accept 10 transfer students. It seems almost impossible to get in! What should I do? Should I try experimenting with other classes again?
