Should I join the color guard or the pit in marching band?

If you wanna be cool go with Pit. Color Guard is not dancing, and every school ever makes fun of their color guard.

I'm going to be doing marching band for the first time next year (it will be my sophomore year) and I'm just curious as to what you guys think would be cool. I have a little dance experience, which would be good for color guard, but I also can read piano music, which would be good for the xylophones and stuff in pit. I know I'll have fun in whichever one I pick, but I'm just looking for some opinions to help me make my decision. Thanks in advance
