Should I jailbreak my iPod?

Reasons to do it:

1. My Apple warranty has expired, so it doesn't matter if the warranty is voided.
2. More apps etc.

Reasons not to do it:

1. Could possibly stuff up my iPod

* I have blackra1n ready to go, all I have to do is connect my iPod to the computer.

Should I jailbreak my iPod? Is it worth it? Is blackra1n safe...and easy?
