Should I install Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit on custom new build?

I purchased 2 4GB sticks of RAM and forgot that 32 bit only supports up to 4GB of RAM. So would I benefit from using the 8GB of ram and installing 64bit OS? Or should I get 2 2GB sticks of RAM and max out the 32 bit OS? I'm not a gamer and only use web surfing, video/picture editing, office, and acrobat. This is my first build however and I want it to be to notch. I'm also installing it on a 1TB drive. How much if any hard drive space should I partition the drive to install the OS on? I'm leaning towards 150 to 200GB.
