Should I have written my thesis statement first before making my outline or was working

on the outline fine? 'Cause now I've got an outline but no thesis. Which sucks. Bigtime. I can't make the thesis fit into the outline, and I can't rearrange the outline to "agree" with the thesis! English is driving me nuts! This is insane!
