...political science/ pre-law? Basically got a full ride for tuition at both schools, just paying room and board. Hopefully scholarships will knock some of it out, so money is not an issue. Possibly UF Honors Program. I got into the UM Foote Fellows program, so i can skip general ed. classes. I like the small college feel in a city (I loved Columbia), but i hear UF is more prestigious academically. When I went to Coral Gables, the people seemed nicer, the girls hotter, and I attended a speech by Clinton. But I hear UF Law has produced countless politicians. Where should I go?
Thanks, but the politics isn't everything. I wanna become a lawyer, and participate in politics later. Today's politicians stink anyway. UF used to be my favorite but my visits to UM seemed more to my wishes and I liked the class sizes and personable professors.
Yeah, I got into Tulane, but NOLA is far. Miami could give me around 35 grand a year to go, and is an hour away compared to 5 hours away at UF. Good luck, Laura.
But here's the thing, at UF, i have been treated like anyone else. At UM, it was more on an individual basis. And UF wasn't as great with scholarships as i thought, especially the National Merit, where I could go to other places for free including room and board and a laptop.
