I am currently a high school senior, and I will be attending College this fall. I am here looking for advice of what I should do for my career. Here are my options: Getting into Business, or into the Medical Field.
If I were to get into Business, I would go to school to be an accountant, and after completing that I would work for my Dads Business, where I would be working in the Financial Department, working my way up. I would also get involved in Commercial Real Estate, and learning this would be easy due to the fact that my Grandfather is a successful Commercial Real Estate Broker in Texas. So If I were to get into Business I have a lot of experience behind me that would help influence me to be very successful. There are also many things I would want to do, like start big businesses, and I have always had an interest in opening a Casino, I have very big life goals, and there are many things I would like to do in life.
Now let’s look at the Medical side. I love helping people, either by helping them with emotional problems, physical, and even sometimes financial problems. I feel the way I can make a bigger impact helping people would be by becoming a Doctor. No one in my family is a Doctor, so I don't really have any guidance on this career path, well at least from family members.
I’m not looking for which career path would make the most money, because doing either has a great amount of money involved in the long run, I’m just looking for and ideas of what I should do and why, I’m just looking for some opinions, and pro’s and con’s from each career choice.
