Should i Go im so scared? (ROTC Camp)?

Well earlier in the year they were talking about camp. Its for a week. they told us it was gonna be the best thing ever. Today I went to pack for it and then he told us people piratically die there, fingers get riped off, there snakes bugs and all that. He told us a lot of bloody stories. He told us that people wake up with snakes in there bed and spiders and that the cabins are old. I paid 50 dollars already so if i back out then i wont get my money back. Ill just pay my mom her money back since i have it. Should I go or should i toughen up? Im so scared, I feel lied to and tricked. I have BIG Phobias and scary animals....please help!
 
You will absolutely, 100% be fine... Think about it, why would people join the program after if they ripped off their fingers and killed them? That would DQ you, especially because you're not allowed to die unless they order you to
