I have an Associate of Arts and I just graduated with a BA in Political Science. I'd like to go on to law or grad school, but I'm taking 2 or so years off to save up some money for it. I just got a job with a major corporation, and they will pay up to 8,000 a year for education related to the field (so things like accounting, management, spanish, IT, etc) I have to work retail hours so I can't really attend classes and will have to take most if not all classes online.
There really aren't any Bachelor's or Masters programs for under 8K, and I don't want to get an MBA online anyway because I really don't learn much from online classes. But I figure an Associates would be OK to do online. It's not like I'm doing this because I was going to anyway, I wouldn't if it weren't for tuition assistance.
So, later when I apply for grad/law school, will they see it as a bad thing that I went back and got an Associates from a Community College, or will it appear as an asset seeing that I was just taking advantage of free school?
