I've just been accepted, currently go to the University of Sheffield. My first choices were Montreal and Toronto for the culture and the skiing, but I've heard that this university is also a really good sociable place, although I know very little about the city.
Looking for a change of scenery, an interesting music scene, lots of coffee houses and interesting people... Skiing too.
Can anyone tell me a little about this place? Generally good? Fun? Preferably someone who doesn't have the bias of having lived there all of their life.
