I live in the uk. and was wanting to go backpacking during the winter. maybe not europe, because its to cold. but can any one, suggest a nice place to go traveling that's not to far bye plane because i only have14 days maximum. and do people go traveling in the winter? I went round europe in the summer and met loads of fellow backpackers so i would like it to be the same. i will be going by myself as all my friends do during the holidays is drink there self's stupid, that's not me. a just don't want to go on holiday and find that three's hardly anyone traveling and all the hostels are closed because people are with family's.
