Should I get the Tmobile mytouch slide 3g, or the tmobile mytouch 4g?

For christmas I'm getting a new phone from tmobile. And Im stumped trying to pick between the mytouch slide 3g, or the tmobile 4g. I really want a touch screen, and I think the keyboard would be nice with the slide, but the 4g is alot faster, and has video calling. I cant decide if anyone has any input that would be much appreciated
