First time buying a phone. My friend has the smiley, and the Strive was the next best slider phone I could find.
Here's what I'm looking for:
MP3 playability
Camera and Camcorder
Online...Meh. Don't really care cuz I have a laptop, but I wanna update my fb status while walking.
SD card slot
Send and receive picture messages.
Not sure if all these are available far as plans go:
No contract
free weekend minutes (or free calls and txting after 9)
txt while talking
Saw this other phone at Walmart. Didn't have a contract, and it was a touchscreen for $149. I forgot the name. I liked it, and I had the money at the time, but decided to wait till i found a more reasonable price. Does any of the above apply to this phone, too?
And if you can name any other phones with the stuff I like above, that would be great, too. But I don't want sliders with keyboards that slide from the side, cuz then i'll have to turn it sideways, and that's just frustrating. and no open-faced phones like the blackberry. Don't wanna have to deal with butt-dialing.
Any one under $200. I can push a few dollars past $180, but any higher, and i won't be able to save up for the 3DS.
If I get any more info, details will be added. sorry if this is too confusing for some, but i really need a phone.
